Gregory Hommert

The objective was to create a visual identity that was unique to the artist’s character and reached the goal of visualizing his vivid style of playing. The result visually fuses the roughness of Blues and Roots music with a more refined yet nostalgic quality of early American Jazz and Gospel music. The Sans-Serif typeface “Brandon Grotesque” meets the impression of seriousness, while the modified font “Wisdom Script” appears youthful and vibrant. A natural look is supported by printing it onto unbleached, brownish paper.
